 GIST OF THE CASE:-

                         Vide Board's order dated 20.07.96, the services of Shri  A.K. Dwivedi, the then Executive Engineer (Store), Korba West has  been   terminated due to serious acts of misconduct.  According to  the     charges     framed,     he   alongwith   other   had   indulged   in  misappropriation   of   Board's   property   in   dealing   with   scrap  conveyor belt of large quantity (worth approximate Rs. 15 lakhs).

           Against   the   Board's   said   order  he has filed a Writ  Petition   No.   3601/1996   before   the   Hon'ble High Court of M.P. praying mainly the  following :-

      (i)  To quash the order of dismissed from service.

     (ii) To quash the enquiry in its entirety against him.

 PRESENT   STATUS   :-    In   this   case after M.P.S.E.B. filed Addl.  Return on 18.01.99, thereafter on 23.07.99, the Court was pleased  to take rejoinder as well as Addl. Return taken on record.  Since  then no hearing has taken place.
