GIST OF THE CASE-

           Vide Board's order dated 27.06.96, the services of Shri  N.K. Samuel, the then Assistant Engineer (Store), Birsinghpur has  been   terminated due to serious acts of misconduct.  According to  the   charges, he along with other had indulged in misappropriation  of   Board's property in dealing with scrap conveyor belt of large quantity (worth approximate Rs. 20 lakhs).

           Against   the Board's order for dismissal he has filed a W.P.   No.   4000/96   before the Hon'ble High Court of M.P. praying  mainly the following :-

 (i)  To quash entire enquiry proceedings & the order of   punishment dated 27.06.96 & he be treated as under  suspension till the final conclusion of the criminal trial.

 PRESENT   STATUS_ :-  In this case after M.P.S.E.B. filed Return on  24.02.97, no hearing has taken place.
